Is your glass half full now or half empty? If you’re one of the pessimists, you’re opting for the blank, if I’m optimistic and optimistic, you’re more likely to vote for the full. How do you think about the coronavirus period?
Our lives have changed temporarily but radically and we are in uncertainty about how long it will take us what awaits us. Mass diseases are predicted, which will certainly claim fatalities as well. In addition, of course, children learn from home, who has a way to do it, works from home. Some jobs have not stopped, production is continuing, but there are noticeable declines in all sectors. The negative effects of the pandemic are already being felt. We have never seen anything like it before. Our ancestors who lived several generations ago may have experienced the misery of World Wars, perhaps even our parents experienced something of the 1956 revolution, but the first such great milestone for today’s younger adult society is now, at the time of the coronavirus epidemic. However, this is also new to the world. Something similar to what we are in now. We have accumulated essential foods in our pantry to have access to in times of need. We emptied the shops, checked in, we wanted to go for sure. Our grandparents, great-grandparents did the same during World War II and revolutions.
We did not know what awaited us, but some already felt the trouble before the restrictive measures were introduced here in Hungary. The purchase of disinfectants, toilet paper, flour and sugar had already started before the crown bomb exploded in Hungary. The epidemic, the fear, keeps you in uncertainty, which grinds you to man.
We have been in a whole new way of life for weeks now, forced upon us for our own sake. Experience has not stopped life. We can get food even if we need to think a little more about what our household is missing. our office is also preceded by a telephone call. We had to reorganize our lives, but as we can see, time goes by and we live our lives adapting to change.
Moreover, in this strange situation, things that we have tended to slip past are appreciated. Our friendships, our workplace, and our employees become more valuable. We are happy to see people from a decent distance who we miss, and we are happy to have the good word, a hug.
The internet is not only a new field of learning and work, but we can also discover videos and people that give ideas and motivation and give impetus to the new era. We can rediscover how good the closeness of our couple, our children, is. In addition to the struggle to learn together, we can also discover its beauty in addition to its difficulty. We get more time for each other, for the activities we spend together and usefully, because we are forced into our home. Let us pay attention to each other, and not only to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, but also for the benefit of our families and souls.
