At the end of the year, everyone had fun and well deserved rest. Even though there was a lot of buzz around Christmas and New Year's Eve, we can still spend a little more time relaxing.
It is as if we are losing our lips, and that is why we take the rest out of ourselves and our time. Although the New Year promises new opportunities, we are again waiting for work and learning. Whom the task is, the fact is that the children are already loaded.
Not only do the New Year's Eve Uranian days get us out of the party, but we also have to prepare ourselves spiritually for a long January. This is the month that is probably the hardest to get through during the winter. The holidays have ended, the quiet, busy, dark and supposedly cold days remain.
We can think of January as boring, but it's more about getting back to work, kids learning. Summer is far away and we can only dream about holidays. In the meantime, we still have a lot to do. We are well aware that although we are facing a seemingly boring period, we are actually full of tasks. That may be what makes us less happy now.
In order to manage our energy collected during the winter holidays well into spring, it is worthwhile to slow down our brains. It is not necessary to drive it to survive, but winter, in nature, also slows down the life of plants and animals.
We spend less in nature in winter. Being in our heated home is good now. This can also cause deliberate slowdowns. We can hike and read books, devote ourselves to our hobby, watch series, watch movies. Meditation can help you slow down and recharge. For those who are not at home, there are many guided meditation practices on the Internet that provide step-by-step instructions on how and what to do. You don't need expertise to do that. Just a focus on pleasant music, a relaxed environment and a focus on ourselves.
Pay attention to the needs and signals of our bodies. If we are tired, we must rest. This does not necessarily mean sleep. Active rest can also turn off, divert our attention. You need to find a way to enjoy the winter. It can be a sport, but it can bring a whole lot of joy to our bodies and souls.
