Wherever we go, from whatever medium, we are flooded with a lot of negative news. It is not enough that we struggle with our own problems on a daily basis, even events in the world can be depressing.
There is what is in our hands. For the most part, our lives are an area that we are highly capable of coordinating. And then there is an event that we can be at most external observers and have no way to influence. Coronavirus, pandemic, economic crisis and now war. We met these recently and the television, radio, internet and even our circle of friends and family talked about it. No wonder we are all affected.
It is not necessary to look into the world, it is enough to look around the country. The newsletter reports daily on horrors, negative news, and even problems in our own lives. All of this affects us and presumably not in the most beneficial form. We are saturated with the negatives and we want to get rid of them so that they are not pulled any further down. Again, it is up to us to control the negative news.
Media release
Our smartphone is not only fun but also a means of communication. This makes it easy to get news, but it is necessary to consciously ignore all this if we are disgusted. What’s more, it’s worth turning off or at least muting the phone so family members can focus on each other.
It is very easy to access any information thanks to the internet. However, we can get access not only to what is happening in the country, the world, but also in the form of pictures and videos. During media deregulation, we save ourselves from being informed about bad things, but we can also get rid of its pictorial world. We do not allow sight to be embedded in our consciousness.
Entertainment
If we already consciously want to protect ourselves from a lot of evil, then look for activities suitable for recreation, fun, relaxation that distract us from the sorrows that have taken place in the world and country, and even turn them off.
Let’s listen to our family, play with the kids, talk to our couple, read. In fact, any activity that can not only distract us, but even lift our spirits, can be helpful.
