Parents were able to breathe a little when they were allowed to send their children to school or kindergarten in September. Students behind the previous school year in digital education can now be in community again.
Yet kindergarten and school life are not going the same way in the days before the coronavirus. In general, most of the children were very much looking forward to the new school year. The new and traditional school year, as they were almost hungry for the proximity of their contemporaries, schoolmates, classmates.
However, another looming wave of the coronavirus speaks into the 2020-2021 school year. Although children can go to school, there are even more rules to follow for both educators and students than before.
Provisions
Precautions concerning all educational institutions must be observed. They are regulated not only by regulation, but also in order to protect health and avoid infection. Such as wearing a mask. In the first days it was not obligatory to use, but it was possible to wear a mask. Today, it is mandatory for everyone to wear in public spaces.
The use of hand sanitizer was recommended as early as the first wave, as was thorough hand washing. It's no different now. In addition, it is a requirement that the distance of one and a half meters be observed in institutions. This also means that children need to be seated farther apart in the rooms, but this is impractical in many cases. It even makes it harder to let go of breaks, increasing queuing time. Not only is this difficult to solve due to the lack of space, but the children are also unable to keep a distance of one and a half meters from each other.
While hand disinfection and the use of a mask work well even for younger children, keeping a distance is certainly a problem for them.
It is advisable to cancel and leave the afternoon sports activities. Physical education classes should preferably be held outdoors for as long as time allows. But it's autumn. The summery fall is sure to end and then it will be harder to solve the physical education classes.
Even holding the year openers was different this year than usual. Provided it was retained because many institutions started the year specifically, without a year opener. They were asked to postpone or start events with a limited number of participants where crowds would gather, so this year the organization of balls, prom, cultural programs may be questionable.
