Children are not always able to express themselves well, so they choose the easiest way to express their emotions: crying, believing, whining.
Every parent encounters whining during their childhood. Whatever the cause, for him, the only thing is that he can enforce his will. The parent either responds to this or not. Most kids whine, meaning it’s not a special, annoying, and unique behavior just for our child. If we keep letting go of it all the time, we’re not doing the baby any good, but we’re completely making up our own nerves. Experience has shown that even the calmest parent can be taken out of the stream by whining. And this behavior can be coupled with crying as well as increasingly active speech.
All parents are working to keep this behavior to a minimum, but if the method is not good, it can easily even worsen the parent-child relationship.
No frostbite
It’s not a good tactic for a parent to try to ignore whining, because there’s always a reason for it. It may be quite insignificant, but it still requires a solution. Therefore, it is worth finding out in the first round why the child is behaving the way he or she is. At the same time, it doesn’t work to always fulfill all your requests, because that only makes it stronger in children that it’s worth moaning.
Kids aren’t stupid at all, they just can’t express themselves well yet. Therefore, if we understand what they want and say categorically no to it, it will sooner or later be understood, understood and even accepted. Consistency is very important in parenting and whining. When you whine, after assessing and understanding the problem, keep yourself as promised. NO should mean no, but YES should mean yes. If children understand that we can easily modify our words, they can take control of us.
As far as possible, it is worth dealing with whining calmly, although honestly there should be a person on your feet who can handle it this way always and at all times. Yet, we must take strength in ourselves and find the object of whining with a calm, clean head. It is best to let the kids express their thoughts on their own. It also encourages children to express their own feelings and thoughts as effectively as possible.
As parents, we need to make sure, according to their age, that why they whine is why it’s not possible, why not. Give a clear and unambiguous answer.
