By the fall of 2020, most of the professions taught in the framework of OKJ training will only be available in school-based training.
Those who want to get a job in less time need to apply quickly for targeted training, writes the Center for Education.
The OKJ training system will soon be restructured: far fewer professions will be available outside the school system, ie in the form of courses.
The National Qualifications Register (OKJ), which lists state-recognized qualifications, currently contains 573 professions and other qualifications based on them. In the current revision, the number of basic professions has been reduced to 171. In the future, these vocational qualifications will only be acquired through school-based 3-5 year training.
Another change will be that at the end of the training, everyone will only be able to obtain their diplomas in state-accredited examination centers.
"For those who want to study in the current system and want to choose from a wider range, it is worthwhile to apply for the selected courses," wrote Centrum Education Center in a statement. " Adult education starting in the fall and beginning of 2020 will take place under the current system and graduates will receive full professional certification," they write.
Adult training is not free, students do not have a student card, but organizing schools offer many other benefits to students. These schools try to adapt to the demands of the labor market and, in many cases, work with partner companies to help graduate students find jobs.
They are also more responsive to students' needs than school-based training, for example, with multiple scheduling courses to help students attend work. As they are market-based schools, students can acquire the profession of their choice through better, more modern means.
Parliament will be able to adopt changes in vocational education and adult education in the fall, so that the new rules can begin schooling from the beginning of next year. According to the plans, only partial qualifications and specializations will be learned in adult education.
