After eight years, the Rolling Stones released a new song. The legendary British band Living In A Ghost Town is also linked to the coronavirus epidemic.
"It was like the Stones went into the studio before the quarantine, and then we thought one of the songs we were working on would be a good fit for the current situation. The final version of Living In A Ghost Town was made in our homes," the frontman was quoted as saying. Mick Jaggert's announcement by Universal Music Hungary to MTI on Thursday.
Work on the song began in Los Angeles, continued in London, with the final touches taking place in members ’homes. Guitarist Keith Richards, songwriter, reported that most of Living In A Ghost Town had been put together in Los Angeles for more than a year as part of a new studio album, but because of the epidemic, "Mick and I thought we should have a final version of it, which is here now. . Take care!"
Alongside the song, a video clip was already uploaded to the Rolling Stones YouTube channel on Thursday night. Well-embedded in the appearance of Living In A Ghost Town, the 58-year-old band appeared on the charity show One World: Together At Home last weekend. The latter event, in the name of Lady Gaga, raised $ 128 million for research and development into an antidote to the coronavirus, as well as for local and regional NGOs.
