Home Sweet Home. The shelter. The place where we like to go home from work and make it so that we feel comfortable and pleasant. And if it isn't?
I lived in a place where I went home, but I wasn't home. As if I had left my soul somewhere else and only taken my body there. It didn't feel good. Then I moved and came home. However, I have been in a house that was wonderful and pleasant to walk into. I felt that way until the housemates showed up. They also left their souls somewhere else. I didn't even understand. It really is a perfect house, from the furnishings and from the appearance of the house in general, I gathered that everything is fine here.
However, there was hardly any life in the owners, let alone joy. I even thought about how I would be if this could be mine. Could I be like that too? And at this moment I realized how good it is for me in my little nest. It's neat, but I have everything. And most importantly, there was life in it. Moreover, my life, because not only my body moved in there, but also my soul.
We know very well that we cannot just jump irresponsibly. Buying a house or apartment is a defining moment in our lives that doesn't happen very often. In other words, it may happen that the neighborhood or the street is not exactly the best, but we can also feel uncomfortable in our own home.
The problem is that if we are depressed and anxious in our own environment, where can we find peace? If moving and buying a new home is not an option, then we must manage the existing one. It should be made friendlier and more homely in order to feel comfortable there.
Maybe just changing the colors of the rooms is enough to make us feel better. Instead of hospital white, it is possible to play with colors, which can also have a good effect on our mental health. At the same time, overcrowded spaces and rooms can also act as a source of stress.
Is your home not transparent? Too many dust-collecting laughs? Can't get enough of the furniture? Select, free up space, make it more airy! A little rearrangement may be enough to improve the atmosphere of the home. The change itself can also have a good effect on our soul. Changing something in such a way that it only costs energy, not money, feels good and yet modifies the usual.
We can only encourage you that if you don't feel good at home, change your environment! Bring novelty and change so that you yourself can change and feel good in your home.
