Although we are winking towards winter, this does not mean that there is nothing to do in the garden. In fact, you can even color it with something new. Even with a rock garden.
Many people like this period because the sun is still showing itself, but its strength is already decreasing. Still, it can warm you up nicely, but it doesn't burn. It's true that autumn calls for more layered clothing, but it colors our lives full of wonders. And we can make it even more so if we shape our environment accordingly. Rock gardens are very good because you only have to spend time to create them, and then you can enjoy their beauty for a long time. If we invest time and energy in its preparation this fall, the planted plants will be stronger and shine in the spring. However, this requires action now.
Don't just think about it, do it!
Find a place in your garden where you can imagine your rock garden. It is worth choosing a place that others can see, as it can be a spectacular and aesthetic garden element.
If you have a place for your rock garden, dig it up. What's more, if you really want to establish a place for your plants, you can also add compost to enrich the soil with nutrients. But you will need not only compost, but also extra soil to be able to create different levels for your plants. Therefore, get good quality land. Then think about what plants you want to see in your rock garden. Find out which plants are suitable for this.
A rock garden is not real without stones, rocks and pebbles. Maybe that's why you've been collecting stones of different sizes and shapes during your trips for years, but if you don't have enough, you can also get ingredients at DIY stores.
When everything is in place, the substantive work can follow. It is worth leaving the top layer of the earth looser so that it is easier to plant the plants. Plan their place and place them as desired. By all means, think ahead. This means that you do not plant them very close to each other so that they can later grow and expand freely. They will look nice.
