Most garden owners work hard to keep their plants intact and beautiful, but they have to deal with more. The biggest enemy is the aphid.
Fighting aphids is not easy and comes on an annual basis, but if we want to save our plants, we need to do something. Nor is salvation the goal, but beautiful, life-filled plants. However, if you want to avoid chemicals but find an effective method against aphids, there is a solution.
Moreover, the appearance of aphids should be prevented. We can try such a natural solution by putting banana peel pieces in the potting soil, or by placing sunflowers and calendula in the crate, in pots next to the plants, which keep the lice away.
We can make an aphid spray ourselves, and we don't have to use any harmful ingredients and we can make it at home.
Essential oils also have a good effect on our health and the smell of the air, but we may not even think that it could even be used in the fight against aphids. Lavender or eucalyptus essential oil is what can be added in 20-25 drops to a liter of water and directed from a spray-headed bottle to the lice plant.
The weed found in most gardens (but can also be considered a herb) is dandelion. Not only can a wreath be woven from it, but it can also be used against lice. K00 grams of dandelion leaves are needed, which are chopped and soaked in 5 liters of water for three hours. Once this is done, the lice are blown out of the juice from the spray bottle.
Chamomile is the herb that everyone knows and we usually apply its effects. The plant, which is a cure for many problems, can fight even aphids. To do this, we need to make chamomile tea. It is not as if we are consuming it ourselves, but we are making a much more intense tea, that is, we let it continue to soak in chamomile blooms. The finished tea is not consumed this time, but the lice parts of the plants are washed or blown off.
The basis of Hungarian cuisine is the use of onions. However, the onion can also be considered as an anti-aphid agent, because the lice killer can be easily made from either onions or garlic. 50 grams of onions should be sliced and cooked in four liters of water. You can start spraying with chilled onion malt, but it is worth applying it only on garden plants. Garlic spray also requires 50 grams of crushed garlic, which is soaked in water for 24 hours.
