Some ingredients are common in most households as they are needed to prepare our meals. Among the spices, we can probably find cloves as well.
Cloves are an important ingredient in fruit soups, making the flavors even more harmonious. Clove is actually a dried version of tiny pink buds. The buds are dried until they acquire the color, size, and texture that are not known from the packaging sealed in the paper bag. The characteristic smell and taste of cloves can not only belong to fruit soups, but also have a positive effect on health.
Perhaps the best known effect of cloves is that chewing a clove can be an effective painkiller when a toothache occurs. The same can be done with clove oil, in which case a few drops should be dropped on a cotton ball and the sore tooth and gums should be wiped with it. Clove has the good effect of reducing inflammation due to the eugenol it contains. In addition to eugenol, it also contains other elements that are anti-inflammatory.
Cloves can be chewed not only in case of toothache or gingivitis. Many people use chewing gum because they do not have the opportunity to brush their teeth after a meal. And if you want to stand out in good color, but don't have a chewing gum, you can refresh your breath by chewing a clove.
Perhaps less is known that clove oil has a good effect on the skin as well. It reduces skin irritation, so it can also be used for bites, but it also heals abrasions. Used on its own, it can pinch the wound, so a few drops of olive oil can relieve its strength.
We already know that cloves are an excellent anti-inflammatory, so they can be consumed as a tea for sore throats, coughs, and colds in general. Boil some cloves, let them stand, then we can sweeten them with honey and increase their healing power. The same can be done from clove oil.
It also has a very good effect on digestion, it stimulates the functioning of the stomach, but it also takes up the fight against bloating, nausea and vomiting. For expectant mothers, the most natural cure is to alleviate the discomfort that occurs.
The chewing of cloves and the consumption of the decoction made from them has a calming effect and can even act as an aphrodisiac. It can also lower blood sugar.
