Transitioning from one season to another requires some preparation. Thicker clothes appear in autumn and in spring. It's the same with shoes. However, this also puts more strain on our legs.
Have you ever felt that even though you have had shoes for years, if you neglect to use them, your feet squeeze, press, or crack when you wear them again? You face this both in summer and winter. Now we are living the summer period, so sandals and slippers have appeared. They are pretty, elegant, but not necessarily comfortable. At least not at first. If you want to prevent your old shoes from cracking your feet, you should consider and follow a few points.
Do you know your foot size, but are you sure? Are you used to buying the same size shoes over and over again? It's a big mistake, because it changes with time. If you haven't done so yet, it's time to measure your foot size.
With this in mind, choose the right shoe size. However, even this is not a guarantee that you will choose comfortable footwear. The shape of the shoe, the height of the foot and that there is enough space for the toes are important. Neither too tight nor too loose shoes are good. That's why it's worth trying it on and walking around in it.
Don't waste your time. Take a few minutes to put the selected shoes on not just one, but both feet. This is very important because our feet are different in size.
Although you can't and don't want to wear socks with all footwear, choose socks that fit your feet well with the ones you can.
Try to prevent your feet from sweating. For this, use a special antiperspirant cream or spray.
If you're dressing up for an occasion and wearing matching high-heeled shoes, which aren't the most comfortable, then take a pair of flip-flops with you, which are also elegant but much more comfortable.
Be cruel. It doesn't matter if you like a shoe if the material is already old, stretched, worn, etc. Get rid of these pieces, because this is what can cause you to break your leg.
If you do happen to have a blister or wound on your leg, it is painful. Especially if you still have to slip your feet back into the shoes. Take care of your feet as much as possible. Try to sit down and if it's not even uncomfortable, get rid of the shoes that are causing the pain. If you've already gotten rid of your shoes, try to clean the wound and get a band-aid if you don't have one. After that, it would be the real thing if you didn't have to take the shoes back, but if you do, try to rest your feet as much as possible.
