New or at least never used terms have moved into our language that we hoped will be only a little delayed. That's not what happened.
Pandemic
We have become acquainted with the term operative strain, to which we associate specific persons, and there is a pandemic similar to the word pandamaci, which is less kind because it is an infectious disease that spreads as an epidemic and infects a great many people. It is not just the coronavirus that has become a pandemic. Throughout history, there have been a number of epidemics around the world that have taken its fatalities. Such was the smallpox, the Spanish fever. Not so long ago, even H1N1 caused similar fears in people. And since the spring, the coronavirus has been actively appearing in our lives.
Endemic
Since the release of Covid-19, researchers have been working to make the antidote, but you can also be confident that the human body will know about the virus and have some form of immunity, and then it will become increasingly true. That is, flock immunity takes effect. There is also a good chance that if we get past the peak of the coronavirus infection, the epidemic will subside, however, the coronavirus will never completely disappear. In this case, it is already an endemic.
Just as a pandemic is not a completely new concept, there has been an example of an endemic. In America, for example, chickenpox can be considered endemic and can be seen as occurring year after year.
As for the coronavirus, experts now think that in time, Covid-19 will behave in the same way as the flu, that in some communities the coronavirus may remain permanently, while elsewhere it may disappear completely.
Yet in our present lives, we feel the perilous threat of the coronavirus. We are informed every day about the number of people infected, the number of Covid-19 victims that we are unsure about, he is in fear. Professionals are looking for a cure, a solution, so we can be confident that everything will turn right soon. What is certain is that we are still talking about a pandemic in this case, when most of what we can do is to comply with health rules to protect the health of ourselves and our fellow human beings.
