It used to be better. Today's elderly may complain about how many gadgets are lost in the time of their grandchildren, today's youth, but looking at the other side of the coin: how much interesting and new knowledge they can gain.
You don't have to give the technology to the children, they will do it themselves. The question is more about when they will do it. That is, when the parents allow it. It should also be added that today's children are already the generation that was born into modern technology, the world of digitization and IT.
We hear more and more about scientists creating robots. What was once fiction and a movie scene is now reality. You don't have to imagine robots with a metal structure and tangled with wires either, because they have already created robots that are very similar to living humans, have artificial intelligence, and are constantly learning, that is, able to develop.
Not only robots appear in the movies, but also the vision that one day they will become so smart and self-aware that they will turn against humans.
Not only is it an idea taken from movies, but the very fact that robots will soon be living among us, whose main role will be to assist human activity, is quite incredible. But it has never been so close. Most of the factories are already mechanized, production is robotized and our homes are also equipped with modern technology. It is slowly becoming possible to imagine that a human-shaped robot will help with housework and even be a robot butler.
Not all robots are human-like, but they help a lot in automating and speeding up human activities. that is mostly why they are created. However, it is characteristic of us that we like to endow everything with human characteristics or even make it similar to a human appearance. There was no question that the most human-like one would appear among the robots. And this can even be an aspect in healthcare or service industries.
In Japan, the development of robots has reached such a point that the created robots are covered with real skin to become even more human-like. It's unbelievable, but the created material is one that can repel water, but at the same time it is also capable of self-healing. Moreover, they have now even achieved that the skin can grow on the robot in the first place. It is true that they have managed to grow skin on only one robotic finger, but from here it is only a step to cover the entire body with a skin-like material and look very similar to a human. But they want to go further than that, because they want built-in neurons, sweat glands, hair follicles and fingernails for the robots.
