Giving a gift is perhaps even better than receiving a gift. However, the path to finding the best gift is not always the easiest and we have not even talked about its aesthetic appearance.
It is an exciting task to figure out what would be the best gift for someone we want to enjoy. When we make an imaginative and original gift by hand, it will even have an intrinsic value and it will not be labeled with a price tag or other information. Not so in store-ready items.
Everyone knows how annoying it is to have a price tag on a beautiful gift, a sticker that makes it look worse. If the sticker is only on the outer cellophane packaging, removing the sticker will also remove the sticker. And we can make the decoration ourselves. Worse is the version where the label, sticker is placed directly on the object. This is exactly what we don't want to show or see, so we'll start removing it.
We are lucky if we can easily remove the sticker, the label, but this is the rarest. In general, the experience of scratching, with one layer of the sticker, is achieved. And for more accurate work, we use several solutions. The goal, of course, is to keep the gift intact and beautiful.
There is a very good and gentle way to remove a sticker that has already been scraped off. Every household has at least one eraser, which can also be good for removing the label on the gift item. It is best to use a soft or medium hard eraser to rub the half-scratched sticker.
A drastic but effective solution can be the nail polish remover. This is a caution to everyone, because while it may actually soak the sticker, it can also damage the color of the gift. It is worth trying in a small and invisible place to see if the nail polish remover is damaging the color. If you do not leave a stain, it quickly dissolves the adhesive and the label can be easily removed.
Instead of using a proven, yet forgotten method, we can use our nails, although we could do this with a hairdryer. All we have to do is heat the label with a hairdryer, that is, direct the device onto the sticker. The warm air dissolves the glue and is easily removed from the object.
Just as sticker tattoos are applied to children's skin, the same technique can be used to remove the label. Soak the sticker with a damp sponge, then scrape it off and wash it.
