This year, MVM ZENERGIA will enchant the audience again in front of the Basilica

MVM is launching for the sixth time MVM's large-scale outdoor concert entitled ZENERGIA on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 20:00, which this year can be enjoyed by spectators from St. Stephen's Square in front of the Basilica or even online from the comfort of their home. Five music genres will also appear at this year’s concert, so everyone can find the tunes they love. Once again, MVM is offering the entire ticket revenue for charity. (X)

The last time we were able to enjoy the inimitable sound and visual world of MVM ZENERGIA outdoors in 2019, this year we will have the opportunity to experience this experience again.

This year's MVM ZENERGIA's musical repertoire is more diverse than ever, this time with the virtuosity of the 6 best-known Hungarian musicians. During the 14 pieces, everyone can find the etude they like best, as well-known works from the worlds of classical music, light music, jazz, world music and folk music are performed. All this in transcripts, instruments and performers that the audience has never heard before.

The live music of the large-scale open-air concert is made even more memorable by the light painting projected on the Basilica.

The evening will feature some of the most acclaimed Hungarian musicians:

  • János Balázs (piano),
  • Kálmán Balogh (cimbalom),
  • Lajkó Félix (violin),
  • Béla Szakcsi Lakatos (piano),
  • Roland of St. Paul (tuba),
  • Tompos Kátya (singing).

There are a limited number of HUF 3,000 sponsor seats available for the special cultural program and in advance. This year, the event will also be broadcast online, to watch the live broadcast, HUF 1,500 sponsor tickets can be purchased in advance.

MVM will offer the full amount received from ticket sales for charity this year as well. Those interested can vote on the mvmzenergia.hu website until August 28, which organization MVM should support with the proceeds of the concert. This year, the Cantemus Public Benefit Foundation, the Budapest Hydrotherapy Rehabilitation Gymnastics Foundation and the Spark Talent Care Association will take part in the voting.

The venue of the concert is the Budapest Congress Center, and if required by legal regulations for other epidemic reasons or for other reasons, the concert will take place exclusively in the form of an online broadcast and the on-site tickets will be redeemed.
