British movie star Tom Hardy entered a real martial arts competition and won in his own category, proving that he doesn't just pretend to be a martial artist in his movies.
On September 17, Hardy entered a Brazilian Jujutsu tournament in Milton Keynes, England at a local gym. The Direct caught up with one of Hardy's opponents, who recalled being a bit giddy when he saw who he was going to fight, but said the British star told him: forget who I am, just do what you'd be doing anyway .
The star of the films Venom, The Dark Knight Rises, Origins and Mad Max not only participated, but also won the second highest ranking - blue belt - category.
A spokesperson for the organizers of the sports event said: they were very happy that Tom Hardy competed with them. He added that everyone recognized the actor when he appeared, but he behaved very modestly and was willing to take pictures with people.
