Everything used to be different. People much older than us say this. Surely this was the case, and could it be better?
This can be debated and counterargued, but one thing is certain: 40-50 years ago, life and the world were different, and what is missing the most now is calmness. Age, increasingly advanced technology and communication opportunities have given us something that is difficult to put down and with which we spend a lot of useful time instead of other things.
You have probably already realized that we are talking about social networks. It's not a problem at all to look at it, because our message came, because we received a notification. We must accept that this world has brought us this, we must live accordingly and take advantage of the opportunities. The problem is when it takes over our lives. In other words, when we could be doing so many other activities not related to gadgets, but the media and the Internet got sucked in.
In the 1990s, children were still afraid of television, which "drains their brains", teaches them stupid things, does not develop them. Today, smart gadgets and games that can be played online or on some platform have arrived alongside the TV, which further aggravates the situation. In addition, it can not only hold children captive, but also drag adults into that unreal world.
Shopping day is our activity. However, it can be harmful (to our wallet) and unhealthy (even to our mental or physical health) if it means relaxation. However, online shopping from the comfort of your home is practical and convenient, but in many cases it is terribly unnecessary. It can develop into a passion like gambling. Nothing is enough. Not only money can be wasted in this way, but also time.
It also takes a lot of time from our lives if we focus too much on our appearance. Of course, a sophisticated appearance is important, which includes personal care and personal hygiene in addition to clothing, but if we only show how perfect we are in front of every mirror and window display, we distract ourselves from other things. Once again, the Internet provides an open field for people who are very sensitive about their appearance to develop their narcissism even more perfectly, just think of the make-up videos.
