We really see the change in the world if we look back at the past. It’s enough to just look at our own lives, but the past is really shocking.
Fashion, appearance, looks completely different now than it did half a century ago, not to mention even older ages. We routinely perform the processes of daily cleansing and beautification. These include occasional hair removal among women. Because hair removal is not only popular, but we feel downright mandatory. We know that this has not always been the case, and even with the current modernization, there are those who are facing the removal of hair and leaving themselves the way nature desires. Why and when did we start hair removal?
There are many hair removal methods to choose from. What we can do ourselves, even at home, is shaving, but we can even try resin strips and machines. We do this because our environment demands it, we don’t want to deviate from it. We want to achieve and show beautiful, smooth and well-groomed skin ourselves. Depilation also adds to perfection. Looking back at the past, the beauty, the sophistication of the age, was not the hairless female body. Removing hair from the body is not a modern requirement. Already in antiquity and even in the Stone Age they tried to get rid of it and not only women but even men. The smooth, hairless skin showed that he was of a higher rank.
In each culture, hair removal and adjustment meant becoming an adult. When the razor was invented in the XVIII. In the second half of the 19th century, men's beard and mustache shaping became much easier, and although it was also used by women, hair removal as a female beautification step only in the nineteenth century. at the end of the century it became more and more well-known.
As clothing fashion changed, skirts and dresses became shorter, so did it become more important for the legs to become smooth. By the mid-1900s, the use of razors by women was also becoming more common. We still do all this today because we feel it is an expectation, but at the same time we live in a world where we are less and less willing to live up to expectations. It is becoming increasingly important how we ourselves feel, what we feel like. Hence, not everyone rabbits for razors, resin strips and other solutions. Among them, celebrities already take their hairy legs and armpits.
