Appearances really matter. There is a saying that it is not the outside that matters, but the inside, but in many cases it does not hold its place, or at least there are many who do not think so.
Personal hygiene is not the same as constantly reacting to and changing fashion changes (be it dressing, makeup, hairstyle, anything). The latter is not only costly, but not always tailored and appropriate to the individual. Many hide from the world because they think they may be different from the average. Too skinny, too, fat, too, high, too low, too, too.
Everyone is a separate personality, with a separate spell, with unparalleled beauty, but there are those who are born with illness, disorder, imperfections. Mankind is increasingly accepting those who do not represent classical beauty or integrity. Many have already shown the world that it is possible to live a full and happy life with handicaps, just as sports can be done. The best example of this is the results of the Paralympics participants. This is what the Sure deodorant brand, which is the British version of Rexona known in Hungary, tries to emphasize.
Sure is determined to change people’s perceptions and their mission is to not only accept others because they look different, but to love ourselves as well. The body-positive attitude is most authentically provided by the commercial in which dancers and athletes show themselves to a country and a world bank who live with some otherness. Nevertheless, they did not retreat from the world, but try to get the most out of their own situation and life.
The other means neither that it is ugly nor that it is worthless. It's just different.
