Vegetable-based, dairy-based or substitute foods offer consumers a good alternative. Those who have a sensitivity to milk protein or lactose can be bravely consumed, but healthy diets can add to their diet. However, you should take care of the fashion diets, as it is recommended to consume half a liter of milk per day for those who do not suffer from food allergies.
There are considerable differences between the prices of commercially available milk and vegetable-based beverages. Fresh and durable milk costs between $ 130 and $ 300 per liter, while lactose-free milk is available at $ 200 and $ 400 at most stores.
Different plant-based drinks usually cost much more than $ 500-600, but you can get up to $ 1,000 for some premium products. Many also pay the latter amount for a liter of drink, whether it is fashion or compulsion, another question.
Rice, coconut, soy or almond juice can play an important role in the diet of those who are sensitive to milk protein, as they cannot consume any foods that contain milk.
At the same time, vegetable drinks cannot be clearly stated to be healthier than traditional milk. For a healthy person, half a liter of milk or equivalent calcium-containing dairy products is recommended. However, these herbal drinks can be incorporated into a conscious and healthy diet, said Lilla Csengeri, a dietician at hirado.hu.
Watch out for fashion dudes
It is not worthwhile to embark on some fashion dances that eliminate certain food groups from the diet. If we miss a food group for a long time, we will only hurt our body, because the nutrients needed for healthy functioning, such as calcium and milk in dairy and dairy products, will be injected in the wrong amount.
The expert stressed that if you have any digestive complaints (abdominal cramps, bloating, diarrhea), which may be caused by milk protein allergy - or lactose sensitivity, you should definitely contact a specialist and only switch to a special diet if you really need it. If there is a medically proven problem, the dietitian will help you make the right diet so that you do not have a nutrient deficiency.
They passed the test
The National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih) informed hirado.com that Nébih had previously studied the analysis of soy drinks among plant-based milk substitutes, and the Supermenta product test was carried out with fifteen soya beans.
Laboratory testing of soy drinks revealed that none of the products contain lactose or gluten, and that no milk protein has been found in any soya beverage, which proves that it is entirely vegetable-based.
For each product, it was checked whether the protein content in the nutrition labeling was in line with the amount in the product. On the basis of the values obtained, all soy drinks were tested.
It was also considered important for soy-based foods to carry out GMO testing. Based on the results it can be stated that soy drinks are also GMO free. The amount of calcium and vitamins present in the products also showed a good result compared to the value indicated on the label.
In the soybean product test, the name of the product group was always properly used by the distributors. None of the products tested were incorrectly labeled as "soy milk", but all fifteen boxes were labeled soy drinks.
