Today's really big and modern cities show us the picture we saw as the fantasy magic of futuristic films a few decades ago. What was once an imagination is now a reality, and maybe we even surpassed it.
It has long been recognized that human activity in many cases only benefits us, but we harm the environment and every living being.
It has now become a complete recognition, as we can feel the harmful effects of climate change on ourselves. More and more people at international level are trying to make our environment more livable and we are not only keeping our own interests in mind because we know that everything is all about everything. If the system lacks an element, it would not seem like a big problem, but it is still in the system of nature.
The metropolitan way of life was created by drowning in the surrounding nature, and taking over all of it, and suppressing the flora and fauna with its own buildings. Of course, some species could adapt to this, while others were dead, looking for another place. The huge metropolises are expanding upwards, with their skyscrapers facing the high-lying birds. The green area has only been realized in a few parks, or even in indoor plants, but more and more people are looking for green.
Even following the metropolitan way of life, man requires the proximity of nature, plants and animals. In the absence of a free area, forests and plants should expand. The Italian designer, who dreamed and planned the vertical forest in Milan, started from this.
The vertical forest, the Bosco Verticale's two, 80 and 112 meters tall buildings, are home to thousands of smaller and larger trees, bushes and other plants. There are perennials, mulching plants among them. More than 11,000 plants can live together, and where there are plants, insects live there.
The construction of the two towers itself required great planning and design, but the botanists were even more inclined to create the plant life of the Vertical Forest, but to be planted and proliferating.
The view of the towers is a fresh and green spot for the big city, which is not only a spectacular sight, but also a useful work, because the towers' plants reduce the air pollution of the city, filter out the dust, absorb CO2, protect against harmful radiation, home of many insect species and homes. it also protects the public from noise pollution from the city. Of course, towers that have a good effect on the city's biodiversity not only attract insects, but also birds, so even beyond the flora, they are also good for the fauna.
The view of the towers is eye-catching, yet it is an innovative urban opportunity that is not only a spectacular sight, but also a building that maximizes its hopes.
