Now that the snow has melted, suddenly a spring-like feeling has come to power, even though this year's winter has given way to white shroud. It was nice, it was good, now spring can come.
It is just the beginning of February, and as unpredictable, extreme weather recently, we can also expect that even snowfall can occur and the temperature can cool down after a little relaxation.
The milder days, however, triggered the desire of man to be released again. Of course, this snow didn't stop us. In fact, the thick snow cover was very loose, snowmen around the country were built and there were a lot of kids and parents slipping down a slope.
Those who are active and determined to do so are not prevented by the cold from worshiping, others cycling or walking to their workplace, school, so exercise in their lives. Excursions should not be closed during the winter, but we need to be careful to be prepared. This, of course, applies to our dressing, that is, layered clothing is required. Those who run regularly may have already invested in special underwear, very useful for running, so they can use the same for hiking as they are designed for active physical activity. Adhering to the body, it provides warmth and at the same time drives the sweat to prevent the body from freezing. And if you do not have such special underwear, you should prefer the layered cotton pieces.
If you pay attention to clothing, you should do the same when choosing your footwear. Not just a hiking boots, it must be winter as well. While in summer there is enough sport shoes or hiking shoes, in winter it is advisable to have a high-heeled version to keep your ankle better on slippery terrain and just as important to be waterproof. Not only is it unpleasant to go through a hiking trail in cold, damp socks, but it can even lead to colds.
Just like in the summer, during the winter tours, the basic equipment includes food and liquid. Although in the summer there is a clear increase in fluid loss due to heat, we can sweat in the winter during a pleasant trip.
While hiking, do not try to caress your phone, but it is reassuring if you have your device for help and information, if it is needed. Most devices also have a flashlight function that can be useful when exploring a cave. You should also make sure that the device is fully charged at start-up and that we have powerbank when the phone is discharged.
Don't be blocked by the cold. Exercise in the cold, cold, clears the body, the soul and the lungs. Care should be taken of clothing and equipment, but if you want to break out of everyday life, then it is not really cold to take care of ourselves.
