This year, 62 percent of Hungarians are planning a vacation, most of them (35 percent) in the second half of July and the first half of August (22 percent).
Meanwhile, 11 percent of those who never travel to relax after a research.
On behalf of the NaturMed Hotel Carbona in Hévíz, a nationwide representative survey of 18-59-year-olds, based on the results reported by MTI, most of them (39 percent) go to relax once a year, but almost the same number (38 percent) several times a year. Nearly 6 percent of respondents spend four or five years or less frequently.
For this year's planned venue, only 32 percent of domestic destinations and 26 percent of foreign destinations were targeted, with 4 percent both.
The region of Balaton is the most popular region in Hungary with 21 percent, followed by Central Transdanubia, Northern Hungary and Southern Transdanubia.
The survey also covered important aspects of domestic hotel choice. Of these, 51 per cent of respondents indicated the possibility of trips. 50 percent of the respondents mentioned friendly service, 41 percent of the plentiful and healthy food offerings were listed here, while the multi-generation program option was cited by 36.4 percent, 30.6 percent by the quality wellness service, and 26.8 percent by the outdoor adventure pool.
