There are colorful programs on Saturday and Sunday at more than 250 locations across the country at the Cultural Heritage Days series of events.
Among the programs, more than 100 thematic walks await visitors, who can visit the Riding School and the Guard in Buda Castle, while in Szeged they can follow the pediments of the lower town. In Győr, they can descend to the dungeons of Káptalandomb, and in Baja, those interested can get to know the memories of the great fire of 180 years ago.
In addition, concerts, guided tours, book demonstrations and craft workshops are included in this year’s programs. In Keszthely, visitors can learn about the history of the city's oldest secular building, the Pethő House, and the Máré Castle in Magyaregregy will have traditional programs, weapons demonstrations and lectures on both days.
The use of a mask covering the mouth and nose is mandatory in all indoor programs of the series of events - it can be read on oroksegnapok.gov.hu, where the detailed program can also be found.
The Cultural Heritage Days are a series of events of the European Heritage Days in Hungary, which are now held in fifty countries every year.
