The Kuthy mansion will be renewed in Kapolcs, which awaits visitors from autumn with new services called MűvészVölgy Kúria, and in its immediate vicinity with a playground, parking lot and a new main square.
Following the development, the mansion, building on the traditions of the Valley of Arts Festival, will continue to function as one of the central venues for cultural and festival tourism - read the announcement of OXO Properties Nonprofit Kft.
According to the information, the building located in the center of the settlement will be completely transformed, on the lower level a multifunctional event space and an information office will receive visitors to Kapolcs. Upstairs, there will be a permanent free exhibition with an interactive film screening, as well as a café and a community office.
There is a themed playground in front of the MűvészVölgy Mansion, as well as a bicycle lounge. Behind the building, a space with modern public lighting will be created, which will allow the organization of outdoor fairs, concerts and family programs. At the end of the square, a new parking lot will be created.
Developments in line with the National Tourism Development Strategy will provide a four-season program opportunity for domestic and foreign visitors, as well as becoming an important meeting place for the local community, the statement said.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the Széchenyi 2020 program, following the GINOP - 7.1.9 - 17 Call for the Development of Integrated Products and Services in Tourist-Frequent Areas, with a European Union grant of approximately HUF 319.7 million.
